Job Description
Reporting to the Property Manager, the Gardener is responsible for providing professional gardening services and maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial client properties to the high standards of Mom’s Fine Gardening. This role involves performing a variety of technical, physical, and hands-on gardening tasks safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
Our gardeners are responsible for organic-based maintenance and weeding, seasonal container design, disease and pest management, pond and spa treatments, and holiday decorating!
The Gardener will follow direction from the Property Manager to complete both manual and equipment-assisted duties, ensuring all work is completed accurately and within established timelines. Clear and consistent communication with the Property Manager is essential to ensure client expectations are met.
Success in this role requires a strong team-oriented mindset, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to collaborate effectively on job sites.

Job Requirements
Be honest, respectful, and hardworking
Demonstrate strong communication skills with people diverse in language, ability, and education levels/experience
Know materials, methods, and skills used in various landscapes common to the Midwest region
Follow safety practices
Must pass DOT drug screening
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Remain in a standing or sitting position for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height
Ability to traverse over rough, uneven or rocky surfaces
Have a growth mindset and show continuous effort to improve the customer experience
