Cara joined Mom’s Design Build in 2025 as a Project Coordinator, bringing with her an impressive ability to keep things running smoothly—whether it’s a project timeline, a tile display, or a perfectly polished manicure. She has a deep appreciation for how a well-designed space can influence mood, health, and overall well-being, a passion undoubtedly inherited from her grandmother who studied interior design.

Before landing in the world of landscaping and remodeling, Cara mastered the art of organization and customer service in a variety of industries. She managed a decorative tile department (meaning she can probably identify the material of a tile at 50 paces) and has provided administrative support for a digital marketing company, a career coaching service, a Jiu-Jitsu gym, and a chiropractic clinic—so she can optimize your resume, teach you self-defense, and adjust your posture all in one conversation.

Outside of work, Cara is a woman of many talents. She speaks Brazilian Portuguese, sings in an adult choir group during the summer, and once spent a month in Brazil after high school. She’s also dabbled in modeling—you may have spotted her in a Target ad, a prom event magazine, or even on a book cover. At home, she’s the proud human of two tuxedo cats, Pepper and Mama, and she enjoys experimenting with nail designs (so if you see her with tiny landscapes painted on her nails, don’t be surprised).

With her exceptional administrative skills, creative spirit, and ability to juggle everything from project coordination to daily operations, Cara is an invaluable part of the Mom’s Design Build team.
