We are growing and looking for an Interior Designer to join our already amazing team. Applicants must LOVE working with people, be able to wear many hats in one day, be enthusiastic and have excellent communications skills.
Reporting to the Director of Operations and VP of Design, the Interior Designer is accountable for the planning, coordination and administration of all design development. The designer will sell projects, consult with individuals, create unique designs and coordinate installation while developing a professional business relationship with the client.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Create innovative designs while maintaining budget, aesthetic, functional, structural, financial and environmental integrity

Ability to use design software
-
Present and sell designs to clients
-
Order and coordinate delivery of specialty products (interior elements, furniture, cabinets, etc.)

Develop and maintain complete client files
-
Negotiate contracts in dispute, change orders, and customer service situations
-
Solve problems on a high level
-
Develop and maintain working relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
-
Communicate effectively between operations manager, crew supervisor, supplier and client
-
Communicate to the crew supervisor all aspects of the installation
-
Oversee the installation process to ensure that it is completed properly and meets the client’s expectations

Create punch list and change orders for job
-
Collect payment at the beginning and end of each project
-
Responsible for delivering correspondence, thank you cards and gifts to clients

Work with computer applications such as ACT!, Microsoft Office and Quickbooks

Weekly present your tasks completed and your goals for the upcoming week to the Director of Operations, including required reports, sales, mileage, etc.

Attend weekly meetings with other designers and office staff
