Tequila Sunrise without the Hangover

As rain clouds loom in the distance, we are dreaming of a cocktail induced tropical getaway. While a vacation may seem far off, these sweet blooms will lighten your spirits throughout the growing season. These charming Geums, also known as Avens, get their boozy name from their gorgeous yellow blooms with rosy edges. Although the flowers pretty and quaint, they are durable and tough, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Growing on elegant purple stems, these perennials are sure to make a statement so that sunrise doesn’t just happen in the morning.
