In my humble opinion, hot tubs are great all year round! During the summertime they’re ideal for relaxing, even in the heat; throughout the winter they are the ideal way to stay steamy and warm. It’s hard to come up with a valid reason not to have one! There really is something about crawling in warm jacuzzi on a brisk fall night. Whether you want to admire an updated landscape at a new home, have a cocktail, or relax after a long run, hot tubs are the ideal space to take a moment for yourself. Now that we’re closing in on autumn as September rolls around, we thought it would be dreamy to roundup a list of our favorites. These are the hot tubs that blend beautifully into jaw-dropping landscapes (and how you can replicate at your own home).

The Hot Springs Oasis

This exquisite hot tub refuge is built right into the patio, making it appear as if it’s a part of the earth itself. The natural stones and breezy path winding down to its base makes it appear as if it’s in a hidden forest, adding to the haven vibes even more. The bonfire nearby makes for a perfect spot to tell stories and curl up in a warm towel to dry off. It’s truly reminiscent of a dreamy getaway.
How You Can Quickly Replicate: Consider lots of planters and additional landscaping near your hot tub space. Investing in a fire pit nearby adds on to the element that you can stick around and stay awhile.

Malibu Resort Status

California anyone? The prominent slabs and steps into the hot tub give the allure of an infinity pool next to the Pacific oceanside. It’s so delightfully California, it feels like there should be a lemon tree nearby! The chic and simple lounge chairs set the scene for relaxation and the fountain nearby adds the “resort” element.
How You Can Quickly Replicate: Invest in a pair of basic and streamlined lawn chairs and interchangeable accessories (pillows and/or towels) to spice up the area if you wanted to take a break from the hot tub. These also offer your guests the opportunity to really make themselves comfortable.

Hollywood Hills Party Palace

This spot makes me want to invite over all of my Hollywood friends to have a party (well, if I had Hollywood friends anyway). Either way, this space is meant to entertain. From the grass steps, perfect for laying out and munching on appetizers, to the eccentric guest house in the back – there’s a lot of fun and good conversation to be had here. The open spacing between the hot tub and pool offers such a breath of fresh air – I want to live here forever.
How You Can Quickly Replicate: Lighting is key! This patio is filled with glorious, yellow mood lighting that sets the space for romantic chats and late nights.

A Moment of Zen

If you have a hot tub, consider covering it with a beautiful awning of some sort or put it directly beneath your deck. This home design offers a very private and intimate space to relax. It’s built into the ground, giving the allure of a natural hot spring, once again. The wood paneling on the ceiling also give off a woodsy, homey feel. The bar addition in the background is a great add-on, especially if you’re looking to accomodate guests here and there.
How You Can Quickly Replicate: Whenever you have extra space in your home or yard, fill it with an effortless patio addition like this. Hot tub included! It’s easy and simple, and a great alternative to open, random space.

The North Woods Delight

We love this set up because it feels like home! The natural shrubbery complements the simple slabs of stacked rock nearby, offering a peaceful respite. The hot tub becomes a part of the elements, a peninsula of rock and water to savor.
How You Can Quickly Replicate: When you landscape your entertaining space, consider the elements. If you live in a colder place, symmetric and easily maintainable shrubs will make the space look well-kept and cohesive, even during the not-so-easy-months to maintain.
Now that you enjoyed some delectable patio/hot tub inspiration, does anyone feel like a bonfire and a quick dip? We certainly do!
