I’m excited to share this rustic farmhouse kitchen. This kitchen has all the modern amenities to create better function and easability for any busy family. Inspired by piece of reclaimed barnwood that we used as accents throughout the home, including a barn-door over the kitchen sink pass-through that looks into the kid’s play area.
We pulled the dark hue from the barn-wood to create our stain color for the cabinets to compliment one another with a light contrasting countertop. The countertops are Cambria a non-porous quartz, custom cabinets by Pro Design Custom Cabinetry with plenty of personalized storage, including a separate drop zone area for daily mail, keys and charging station.
This kitchen has been updated with seamless modern appliances, a countertop depth refrigerator, built in ovens, a sleek low-profile cooktop and stainless steel dishwasher. Not only do the appliances save space but they also have concealed flush controls for ease of cleaning. The under-mount sink with a single faucet helps reduce the trim surface on the countertop, eliminating accumulation of dirt and debris in the seams. The durable travertine floors are great for high traffic areas and pets. This modern farmhouse kitchen is so aesthetically pleasing, underlining the beauty that comes from a functional space.
