Arborvitae are ubiquitous in the Minnesota landscape, but the range of larger cultivars in common use is limited. Thuja “Wintergreen” exhibits a slightly different texture and color palette than other large, upright arborvitae. Its relatively open, lacy habit combined with persistent bright green color give it the look of a young western red cedar. Plants can reach an impressive 25′ with a width of 6-7′.
